    Become more empowered and wise about your own health, that of your family and friends, and as a professional, as we move into the year ahead.  I am offering you ways and wisdom to collectively reclaim important healing arts practices before they are lost. You , as a student, will start out immediately enabled to begin making medicines, research herbal methods, and set up your own APOTHECARY as an adjunct to this Certification Training-  through exposure to a living ;guide and On Premises Experiences and Exercises in learning.

ABOUT 

guided hands on instruction and experience in making plant medicines- all forms: tinctures, extraction, water based, powders, oxymels, capsules , poultices, and more.

​

_This is an in -depth foundational format

​

~ a format of lecture, demonstration, and hands- practice of skills

~  Sensory experiences to identify dried and raw herbs, products, and formulations for quality and potency.

​

~ complete assignments each month in between meetings , using a Guide provided by Mary Light

​

~ keep a portfolio of your academic achievements to refer to , and to consider for submission to AMERICAN HERBALISTS GUILD 

​

~ examination and assessment of case histories, to develop critical thinking skills

​

~ body systems orientation - understand how herbs affect organs, glands, tissues, and interrelated systems. 

​

~ field identification, outdoor skills, harvest, quality control, procurement, storage 

​

~ creation of products for body care, home care, healing, wilderness first aid, family care- Including a personal research Assignment due at the final portion of the series.

​

​~ Pet Care- a first time addition to our fundamental series   Herbs for pets- how to administer, reasons to administer, setting up a small apothecary at home for your Pet Care.  

 

  When we meet, monthly on  Saturday, it is a full day of information, experience, and discussion.

Students who elect to achieve Certification for this training, will complete gently guided assignments in between meetings, using a Portfolio as a Guide, given to you upon enrollment.  There is an option to participate 

 

      Begins in January , Registration open now it is necessary to register in advance for this series.   Tuition covers all supplies, instruction, support, internship support, and the products we give you. 

 

 There is a $500.oo deposit for  the  Series. This is applied to the balance.  There are very limited payment plans- balance in two payments. Students are given a contractual agreement for participation.  Students are responsible for their self care and well being throughout the programs.
